Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Guides and directs the use of computerized applications to maintain, manage, and replace assets in a nationwide organization. The work involves developing and managing database applications used for decision support, implementing a program to conduct comprehensive condition assessments for all major assets. Serve as Infrastructure management Subject Matter Expert (SME), and authority to develop, oversee, and implement major portions of strategic, coordinated, and integrated facility management strategies to support Refuges, Fish and Aquatic Conservation, Ecological Services, the Forensic Lab, Office of Law Enforcement and Federal Highways program throughout all four regions. Directing and supervising highly professional group of technical staff comprised of Civil Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers within the NWRS. Develops and recommends changes in facilities operational policy, plans, objectives, and manuals; and develops/implements procedures for their accomplishment. Initiates and recommends information technology and database tools for new activities or to increase the effectiveness of existing infrastructure and equipment. Only experience obtained by 11/17/2020 will be considered. You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to oversee the development of strategies, instruments, and implementation plans for the evaluation of program results; Assigns tasks to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees; Provide recommendations for appropriate use of the various grant programs related to transportation in support for National, Regional, Field Station, State and local government transportation projects; and develop, update and implement automated programs and systems to track multi-year plans, accomplishment reports, project completion, fund status and preparing financial reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. The Land Management Workforce Flexibility Act (LMWFA),P.L. 114-47, allows certain individuals who currently or formerly were under time-limited competitive appointments at certain land management agencies to compete under merit promotion procedures:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
