KinderCare Education is looking for a Lead IT Quality Assurance Engineer to drive KinderCare's QA efforts. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a team in QA best practices, while constantly finding ways to perfect our processes. The Lead IT Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for building and leading a small team in the planning, design and execution of system testing on multiple complex Business Intelligence software platforms. The Lead works collaboratively both within the IT department and to outside business partners to define, clarify, execute and report on test activities, project status, and overall quality. Key responsibilities include:
Lead testing activities and deliverables in support of all phases of testing Lead Systems Integration and assist with User Acceptance test execution Plan/Develop/Enhance data-driven automation frameworks to support both UI and API testing QA estimates, activities, deliverables and status reporting Creation, review and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated testing Works closely with QA Manager to help allocate QA Analyst work, identify gaps, and opportunities with team members Risk identification and management:
locate problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions Communication with Developers, BSAs and leadership on test result analysis and team performance Act as the SME for the products under test Project review - rollup reporting, find rates, traceability matrix, other test artifacts Manage test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and deadlines Qualifications Key desired skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline Clearly adept at writing complicated SQL queries (Required) 7
years of experience in quality assurance 3
additional years leading a QA Analyst or Engineering team 2
years testing procedures and BI Tools (Required) Experience with NBi or NUnit test frameworks Experience working with JIRA Familiarity with:
At least one top tier BI tool (Power BI, Cognos, Oracle BI, Yellow fin) Source control with Visual Studio Team Services and Git Zephyr for JIRA SDLC, Quality Standards, Best Practices Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical team members KinderCare Education employs more than 32,000 team members across 1,700 locations nationwide. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
