Why Food and  Beverage Management and event management?

  I love this stuff and am damned good at it too.  After more than two decades of experience, it is a career choice that I continue to be passionate about and challenged with.

8/12 – 1/13      Downtown Kitchen  Rochester MN, General Manager

• Contracted to open new restaurant; food and beverage menu development, hiring, responsible for establishing all operating procedures,

2/11 – 7/11      Pinot:  Portland, OR Director of Operations  

• Responsible for overall operation of restaurant; overseeing all staff, menu development, public relations, event booking, social media maintenance

• Coordinator (all three years) of the annual State of Oregon Care Conference 1997 - 1999.  Worked with healthcare providers and national keynote speakers, nonprofits, and government health agencies in coordinating presentations and three days of breakouts
